Jaimee Johanning
Experience & Education
Jaimee Johanning has been practicing family law exclusively since December 2006. She graduated from the UCLA School of Law, where she was enrolled in the Program in Public Interest Law and Policy and she was on the board of the Women's Law Journal. Prior to law school, Ms. Johanning earned a social work degree from the University of Kansas and she gained experience with family law issues while working as a social worker. Ms. Johanning is a member of the State Bar of California - Family Law Section, the State Bar of Nebraska – Family Law Section and Alternative Dispute Resolution Section, the Nebraska Academy of Collaborative Professionals, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
Areas of Specialization
Ms. Johanning has extensive litigation experience, as well as being trained as a collaborative divorce attorney, a mediator, and in Specialized Alternative Dispute Resolution for high conflict cases. Ms. Johanning’s diverse skill set allows her to tailor her approach to the unique needs and wishes of each client. She has experience in all types of family law cases, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, dissolution of marriage cases, child custody matters, modification actions, and domestic violence proceedings.
In The Community
Outside of work, Ms. Johanning and her husband stay busy juggling life with their three very active daughters and two cats. Ms. Johanning also spends time volunteering at local schools and serves on a board for her church, which is part of the Tri-Faith Initiative, a groundbreaking organization focused on cultivating inclusive environments to advance interfaith relationships and understanding.
